Back at the end of August, I assisted a fellow photographer colleague and good friend with an engagement party shoot at Hyde Park. I had been wrangled in as there were going to be 60+ attendees at the engagement party, and it was going to be a case of all hands on deck to shoot everyone As it turned out, the lovely couple and their family and friends were more keen to have a very unobtrusive approach to documenting their special day. One comment I heard was “why is there a photographer hiding in the bushes?” Success! Mission accomplished! There’s a lot to be said for bringing a “wildlife” lens to the party

A little selection of some photographs I shot for the wedding of Nathan and Nicole on 1st October 2011. I was attending as second-shooter/assistant for NJ Humphrey Photography. The wedding and reception was held at Mulberry On Swan which is a fabulous venue set in the beautiful Swan Valley here in Perth, Western Australia. What an amazing romantic event.
