Hello! My name is Sally Dexter Monteiro, also known as sallydexter - a Perth, West Australian based photographer specialising in portraiture, fine art, and small-scale commercial and stock photography.

My interests are predominantly people, dogs, and product/commercially oriented photography. I have a soft spot for all things “Australiana” and like my photographs with a distinctive, bright, Australian flavour.

I enjoy working in both traditional and contemporary portraiture styles, including  lifestyle and commercial-oriented imagery.

When I am not busy shooting, I like to take time to “go bush” in my fourwheel drive, chase my red heeler staffy, run, and make sure my teen children are doing their homework Not in any particular order.

I work both in studio or on location using and am able to travel around the metropolitan area to your home or business, or on-location and beyond.

I am a big fan of old-fashioned customer service and providing value for money, whatever your needs and budget may be. I believe in creating images that will hold smiling memories well into the future.

Good things often come in small packages, so no request or job is too small! I work in a relaxed yet considered manner in planning and undertaking photographic sessions, and will strive to meet your particular needs and wishes.
